It is vulgarly supposed to be an endless prolongation of Time, to begin in the future; it is instead the annihilation of Time, which is limited to this temporal world; in short, Eternity . Eternity surrounds and permeates time. Time has no effect on eternity — and eternity has no effect on time. God just created, invented and produced time when He made the physical creation. A Biblical word study on Time and Eternity in Bible Translating, showing how both Hebrew and Greek words that have been translated to mean eternal in most Bibles, never meant that in the original languages. Examines how this truth effects doctrines relating to Heaven, Hell and the afterlife. Time and Eternity deals with difficult issues in modern physics and brings them into relation with traditional theological doctrines. Craig has done a great work, and it is marvelous that now the philosophy of religion is engaging with the philosophy of science to the great benefit of both.
